Here is a clear, powerful sermon based on Esther 6:14:

Sermon Title: “When Your Moment Comes, It Cannot Be Delayed”

Text: Book of Esther 6:14
“While they were still talking with him, the king’s eunuchs arrived and hurried Haman away to the banquet Esther had prepared.”

Introduction

Life is full of turning points—moments when everything changes suddenly. In this verse, Haman has just experienced humiliation instead of honor. While he is still processing his downfall, he is quickly summoned to a banquet that will seal his fate.

This teaches us something powerful: when God’s timing arrives, events begin to move quickly—and nothing can stop them.

1. God’s Plans Move Swiftly at the Appointed Time

Haman did not have time to recover or plan his next move. The king’s servants came immediately and rushed him.

When God decides it is time, things accelerate.

What seemed delayed suddenly unfolds rapidly.

No human effort can slow down what God has set in motion.

Lesson:
Do not be discouraged by delays. When your moment comes, it will come with speed and certainty.

2. You Cannot Escape Divine Judgment

Haman thought he was in control, but suddenly he was being escorted to his destiny.

He had plotted evil, but now he was being led into judgment.

The same banquet prepared by Esther became the place of exposure.

Lesson:
No one can run from the consequences of their actions.
What a person sows, they will eventually reap.

3. God Turns Situations Without Warning

Just before this moment, Haman was boasting to his family. But everything changed within hours.

One moment he was honored in public.

The next moment he was being rushed to his downfall.

Lesson:
God can reverse situations suddenly:

From shame to honor

From pride to humiliation

From delay to breakthrough

4. Prepared Opportunities Will Locate You

Notice: “the banquet Esther had prepared.”

Esther had already prepared the moment of deliverance.

While Haman was planning evil, Esther was preparing victory.

While others act, God prepares.

Lesson:
Your preparation matters. What God has prepared for you will find you at the right time.

5. When God Calls, There Is No Delay

Haman was hurried to the banquet.

When God calls you into your destiny, there is urgency.

Doors open quickly.

Events align rapidly.

Lesson:
Be ready, because when God calls, hesitation can cost you.

Conclusion

Esther 6:14 reminds us:

God’s timing is perfect.

His plans cannot be delayed.

His justice cannot be avoided.

His blessings cannot be stopped.

Final Thought:
You may feel like nothing is happening right now—but when your appointed time comes, everything will move swiftly. Stay faithful, stay prepared, and trust God’s timing.

Closing Prayer

“Lord, help me trust Your timing. Prepare me for my moment, and give me the wisdom to act when You move. Let every plan You have for me come to pass without delay. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
